I saw this banner in Pulau Tikus....is it a typo or is it meant to be a fake Diamond King?

Trying to figure it out, it might be a malay version of Diamond King...but shouldnt it be Raja Diament if that's the case?

2007-01-13 - Went to Blu's grandma's bday dinner at Maple Gold Restaurant.



The dining area was rather noisy as there're lotta small little kids running away playing hide and seek. The food was quite good and I was darn full when I walked out of the restaurant. Only thing that bothered me is the name that they written on a cardboard to be put onna table for reservation purpose.


where got ppl name sounds like so vulgar!

When a reservation was made through phone calls, the staff should make sure the name written is correct lar...by double confirming or something. how could one miss out a 'i' in between a 'Lan' !

Cibi Hwa's bday

2007-01-10 - me and Blu were invited to attend Cibi Hwa's bday dinner at dont know what shop around Tjg Tokong area. It was a steamboat buffet dinner. The food was not bad at all and I think it's quite worth the money. You can even request the chef to fried the food for you if you prefer. One thing that always happen towards the end of a buffet meal....all sort of remained food that some 'wat tat lou' would so itchy handed and creatively stir, mix them together.

I always mentioned cibi hwa in front of my mom...the day before I went to this bday dinner I was talking to my mom...the conversation was something like this:

me : ehh, i'm not going to take dinner tomorrow, am going to cibi hwa's bday dinner.
mama: ahh okie, cibi hwa belanja where this time?
me : huh? why you also call him cibi hwa one....
mama: that's his name ma...else call him what?
me : ......

Hwa...my mama thought your sir name is Ci name is Bi hwa... pai seh pai seh :(

Elaine Weddings

2007-01-07, reaching home around 4:30am after playing whole night long in netcity, I was exhausted and slept right away after taking a bath. 2 hours+ later, I had to force myself outta the bed, got a ceremony to attend.



Blu actually graduated with the best result in the batch and she was rewarded with some cash money and she was required to attend the ceremony, asking me to go along. Mahai, uninvited person like me will have to pay RM40 per head, Blu paid it for me thou. Damn the person incharge who phoned Blu too, asking us to arrive at 9am, being a punctual person :) we managed to arrive at 9am sharp. But the whole ceremony only begins at 1030am, and only diploma graduates were required to come at 9am, all the other guests were invited to come at 1030am, knn really, wasted my precious sleeping time...grrr....

The good part is we get to have a nice chit chat with all of our school lecturers. Vasusky is still the same old sarcastic cheeky lecturer, Seethai is the more serious type, is Siva on diet? maybe he should introduce his diet recipe to all of the girls out there...he really grew so thin.

The ceremony ended around 12pm, we ate lunch with Kan Chao at Pragin Mall and rushed home to sleep.

Tonight is the big night for Elaine, she's having his wedding dinner at Vistana. Get to meet up with some old friends, like tu ba Jer, mountain pig, tua lan Daren etc.

Weird that the bowl provided were different in sizes....maybe the bigger bowls are meant for people who could eat more :P

Loving each other...since diploma 2002

Too bad, my another gay yao Xiao Pin Pin couldnt make it to Elaine's wedding. Upon reaching home, I was so tired that I slept right away. Wish Elaine and her hubby all the best in life and thier marriage :)

Celcom...with thier 'towel' X

There's this celcom ads onna radio which sounds something like this:

Damn...initially I thought it was this kinda towel...




And I was wondering wtf would some handphones have anything related to a tower?
One fine day I saw this...


Then I finally realized that Celcom meant tower instead of god damn towelie...or because I watched too much South Park =.=

New year 2007!

New year evefor 2007, We've had a potluck dinner at rumah Rou Qi.

I've brought over spicy tuna sandwitches for the potluck, my mama did all the hardwork besides applying the butter which was done by me. You see, applying butter onna bread is the most important task and I couldnt take the risk to let my mama to do it, something is better be done ourselves :)


After dinner, I was kinda lazy to move around and just sitting onna couch idling. Blu insisted that we walked to Gurney Drive and I sure was glad that I went there.

Gurney Drive was sardin hu packed with people when we arrived there around 11pm+. We managed to squeeze our way through and meet up with some friends.

Right after the countdown to year 2007, there was this dude driving his car, wanted to leave Gurney Drive.

The public onna street were too exicted to let the car to leave in peace. I dont know what they did to the car until the driver came down and scold them or trying to negatiote in peace so that he could leave the place. Anyhow eventually, the driver pissed the public off and people started throwing those varioues objects towards the car. I was holding a tin of bottle too and I thought of throwing it too but I figured that the distance between the car and I was too far and I might cause a fight because of that if I ter-throw someone.

After that, we walked back to Rou Qi's house, finding the gang was playing Risk, a board game.

The damn game lasted for 3 hours...I dozed off watching them playing...when i regained consciousness, it was already 5am and actually the game was not finish yet, but they decided to call it a tie.

P. Manna? p. sana!

When i first joined my current company, Paritosh Manna is the first HCL ( one of the famous consulting firms) people that I need to work with. He's also the first indian that's really from India who speaks a heavy slang of english which I've communications problems with him initially.

After dinner, it's time to bid goodbye.
It's quite touching, he has been through alot during his stay here I guess. Wish ya all da best man! :)

Oh, something worth mentioning, I saw these small little cute insects mating or so they looked like it on top of Maverick's car on that day. I've seen pic like these over the internet but this is the first time I saw it IRL...it requires skills to take this pic!

knn virus and earthquake...Year 2007 first post!

Thanks to some unknown virus , my main desktop 'moi' liao and needs to be reformatted...without all the necessary softwares that I oftenly use for blogging, my blog has been stalling since dont know when.
Thanks to taiwan's earthquake that ruined the undersea cables, I get to spend more time away from the computer and concentrate on my FF12.
Thanks to cheap skate pirated FF12 DVD...it stops loading half way of the game and I can spend some time with the new books I've bought, should've take a walk in Queensbay.Borders before buying those books from Gurney.MPH thou.
