Cameron Trip II

We arrived at BOH tea centre around 1030am.

This is the view from where we parked our cars and we'll have to walk up there. Tough journey for me who hardly exercise after joining my current company.

click on the picture to get a clearer view

We took pictures in front of the BOH tea centre, the sign reads NO ENTRY...people who have common sense ( and have no eye sight problems) would never go beyond that sign as it's a deep slope over there. Maybe it's meant for blind people or those who always couldnt be bothered to read signboards to knock on the sign so that they're aware of slope? But then...it should have lotta signs...so that they would be able to knock on the sign easily?

=.=

Inside the centre, nothing much that I'm interested of inside, besides some tea making machines.

Looks like some animals' shit!

more machines

And they sell various type of thier products too...later we found out it's cheaper to buy them in Tesco..bah!

Evonne, is that your hand?
After that, we treat ourselves with some drinks and cakes in the small cafeteria of the centre. It actually freaked me out when I first seen this picture. There's a hand expanding out from my head...after some 1 minute of zooming and observing the picture, I figure out the hand belongs to Evonne who sitting next to me at that time. I believe in Science..I believe in science...I pass all my science subjects...

The sky turned gloomy and it rained heavily when we stepped out of the centre. Bad timing, we waited a while for the rain to subside and we move on to our next stop - The bee farm.

Wah lao neh! Traffic jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam

24th Nov 2006 - Friday, one of the best day in the week, casual wear to the company, who'd imagine an accident earlier on whould've caused heavy massive traffic jam in the whole island.

Taken from penangbridge.blogspot.comTwo Trailers Crashed
There is an accident (two trailers crashed - around 2:00pm) at location KM3.4 causing masive jam along the way from Island to Mainland. Only one lane available for traffic.

Update: It is cleared at 3:45pm :) Enjoy your trip and have a nice day!!!
Enjoy the jam eh?

It's approximately 13-14km distance between my house and my company. Usually the most it'd take is 30 mins+ to reach home, but on that day... it took me 1 hour and 15mins to reach home.

My driving speed on that day throughout the whole journey home

The rainning did no help to the traffic but to worsen it. The rain actually entertained me. I looked at the pile of water by the road side and see the rain drops falling on them. I stared blankly at the sky hoping to see a lightning strikes through ( i managed to see one, it was cool ).

I switched off the radio and try to minimize all the noise interferences that generated by the car - turning off the wiper and aircon. Listening to the raindrops of different sizes hitting the surface actually relaxed me and I nearly dozed off.

turning off the wiper

I heard it's far worst for ppl who's going back to mainland from the island, they got stucked like for 2-3 hours in the jam.

Got these pic from forwarded email

I urge all drivers out there...
please drive carefully especially on the friday!

Cameron Trip!

2006-11-11 - Returning home around 2am after watching Death Note part 1 kat Gurney.GSC, slept for 3 hours and there I was, driving from Penang to Ipoh, heading to Cameron. Before departure, Blu introduced me to her colleauges, lotta new faces, I could barely remember thier name due to lack of sleepness and...baahh all chineses look the same when you dont know them, and out of nowhere this book that I've read came into my mind...

Art of persuasion

The book talks about techniques on how to persuade people to do things that you request or desire for you. It costs me around RM60 for the book from MPH, RM60 is worth the money if after reading and mastered the techniques in the book, you can get any girls you want to bed effortlessly! But hey, that's not my intention of buying the book, I usually just buy self-improvement book to upgrade myself *blinks repeatedly*.

Oops, back to topic, so there's 1 chapter in there teaching us how to pay attention and memorize stuff by using a few techniques. By applying the technique...I actually get to remember the girl colleagues all of thier names!

Our first stop for the trip, Ipoh:

Missing sign board?

This looks more like it..

There're lotta cool statue of the chinese god inside but I didnt take pic of 'em, it's still too early, they havent wake up yet I thought, I'd never want some gods to get pissed at me, who'd like to have blinking flash light flashing in thier face early in the morning anyway...So we walked on...

We follow some funny signs leading us to the tortoise pond.

looks like a mutated tortoise to me...

Okie..clear enough, to the left, get your lousy vehicle and f00k off, to the right..you get to see Dr. Tortoise

Bear with me on the brightness, so you see here the most top arrow is pointing at the pond, the other 2 are pointing at the tortoises!

The tortoises are not as many as in Kek Lok Si ( a famous tourist spot in Penang, which my last visit there was like 3-4 years ago ), I wonder if they grow in numbers? When I was small, I had a tortoise as a pet, the tortoise was a good partner for me when I was bored, he was my best friend. But then, one fine day, my father came home with my first girlfriend - SEGA 16 bits
SEGA 16 bits
SEGA 16 bits, taken from some other site

So...from that point onwards, my good partner was neglected and after some time, I couldnt even be bothered to take care of the tortoise... *sighs* kids ma...what to do :)
You can guess the story by now I hope, the ex-good partner of mine ended up in Kek Lok Si, hey, it's better for him, the place is wider and he has many friends now or maybe he has his own family now :)
